植物组培架上，中药材幼苗泛着嫩绿的光泽。来自湖南农业大学的曾建国教授团队正利用基因芯片和高通量测序技术，破解中药材的基因密码。“中药材品质与基因、环境的相互关系，长期缺乏系统研究。”曾建国介绍，依托岳麓山实验室，湖南与国家中医药管理局共建国家中药材种质资源库，助力从“经验种药”转向“精准育药”。
